On November 12th, 2010 the Seaside Arts C0uncil brings the musical talents of Jennifer Licko back home to Swansboro as part of their Performing Artist Series. Concert starts at 7:30pm
To her superb voice training and years of competitive Scottish Highland dancing, Jennifer Licko added two years of gigging in Irish pubs to develop her infectious vocal style and her delightfully fresh stage personality. The result is a stunning vocal range with a sensitivity and warmth that can turn any audience into Celtic music fans. April 15th, 2010 Angelo M will perform in Swansboro NC
Angelo M
It’s nice to know that the economic recession has an “up” side. When Angelo M (short for Melasecca) lost his job in a Pennsylvania steel mill, he tossed his hard hat and picked up his guitar, and the music world has benefited. Music has always been a large part of Angelo’s life, but since he has been devoted to it full time he has cast a strong impression with his guitar virtuosity and his eclectic acoustic/roots mix. Influences from Ry Cooder, Duane Allman, Leo Kottke, and Chet Atkins have shaped his finger-picking and slide guitar style, with ventures on mandolin and dobro as well. You will enjoy this gifted artist who doesn’t yet know just how good he is! Visit his website at www.angelom.com

March 18th, 2010 Danielle Miraglia performs in Swansboro, NC
Danielle Miraglia
A strong steady thumb on an old Gibson guitar showcases the delta blues influenced guitar style of Danielle Miraglia. Add a raspy, whiskey-tinged voice reminiscent of Lucinda Williams, and you might be tempted to label her a blues artist. However, while homage is paid to these blues traditions, Danielle’s classic rock verve and eclectic array of song subjects give her a niche of her own. A creative writing degree originally intended for novels has produced a body of songs and CD’s earning rave reviews, and her sharp wit and engaging stage presence has gained her fans from around the world. We are fortunate that she will join us here in March 2010. To find out more about Danielle and or to purchase some of her music please visit www.daniellem.com

February 18th, 2010 Beaucoup Blue will perform in Swansboro, NC
Beaucoup Blue is the Americana Philadelphia-based duo of David and Adrian Mowry. Father and son have been performing their roots based music nationally and internationally as a duo, or with a quartet and on occasion quintet. Bridging many gaps in American music, their soulful traditional and contemporary styles mesh into an innovative and authentic sound. Although blues is a staple in their repertoire, they base their love in music from Folk, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Country and Bluegrass. All these interests and influences come out in their original song-writing in a unique way. A handsome range of instruments like six and twelve string guitars, slide guitar, round neck resonator guitar, combined with two soulful voices, encompasses a rich and honest feel, noticeably influenced by familial ties.
