SAC becomes member of Swansboro Chamber of Commerce

Established in 2009, the Seaside Arts Council exists to promote, advance and provide performing and visual arts opportunities, appreciation, and education for residents and visitors to Swansboro and Western Carteret County area. The SAC is a member of the Swansboro Chamber of Commerce and an established nonprofit organization under the terms of section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

Seaside Arts Council brings SwanFest and Emerald Fest (free outdoor concerts during the summer), the Performing Arts Series (indoor concerts/shows during the winter) and judged Art Shows to the local area. We sponsor other community events that are compatible with our mission such as youth and senior art initiatives.

The Seaside Arts Council has grown from a dedicated core group of volunteers and we continue to seek participation from interested area residents. We always need more volunteers! We generally meet the first Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. Please contact us at info@seasideartscouncil.com for more information about joining our team.

Membership in the Seaside Arts Council is available at multiple levels, from basic individual and family memberships to status as Friends and Annual Sponsors of the Arts Council. Your membership helps support our mission and allows you to purchase event tickets at a discount!

We are tremendously excited about the initial response to the formation of the Arts Council,” said volunteer Dr. Tina Siegel. “Our plans are clearly tapping a long unmet need in the community, and we are looking forward to building a strong organization that will contribute in a major way to the quality of life in the Swansboro-Western Carteret area.”

The need is being met and the organization is strong!
